Finnergo Upmove intended use
Finnergo Upmove is intended for use in nursing homes, care homes, rehabilitation centres, hospitals and home care. It makes it easy, safe and ergonomically correct to move the patient from one place to another without physical lifting.
Safety
Finnergo Upmove is CE-marked and complies with the requirements of the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC and Law 629/2010 and its implementing regulations.
The Finnergo Upmove patient support surface is made of a reinforced plastic composite with an antibacterial gelcoat polyester to prevent bacterial growth. The antibacterial compound is contained in the gelcoat layer on the surface of the product and does not come off the surface of the plates through washing or abrasion.
The anti-bacterial compound limits the growth of bacteria, fungi, yeasts and moulds on the surface of the sheets and provides long-lasting protection against them. It is safe and effective. It has been used for many years in a variety of medical applications.
The surface materials are easy-care, bacteria-resistant artificial leather. Flammability class SL 1. The steel parts are powder coated, making them easy to clean and bacteria-proof. The patient assistant is powered by a 24 V dc battery, so there is no risk of electric shock.
Quick and easy
Requires only one assistant. No need to move the assistant from one device to another. Upmove can be used as a stay seat indoors and for outdoor exercise, e.g. on a terrace. No expensive roof rails to install. No transfer lines / harnesses.

FINNERGO Upmove is registered in the European Register of Medical Devices. In Finland, this register is maintained by FIMEA.
The FINNERGO upmove complies with the requirements of Directive 93/42/EEC and Law 629/2010 and the provisions adopted pursuant thereto for medical devices (class 1), The product has been built and tested in accordance with the following standards. SFS-EN 12182, SFS-EN-ISO 10535, IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, CE marked device.

Cleaning products for patient assist devices
Upmove can be cleaned using standard healthcare-approved cleaning products. Using a pressure washer to clean the Upmove may damage its electrical equipment. The rotation radius is approx. 90 cm. The width of the appliance is 65 cm. Suitable to go through all normal doors. Removing the threshold or replacing it with a thin moulding are good options.

Seat height
From 43 to 45 cm from the floor in the lower position, depending on the thickness of the seat cushion. From the floor in the upper position 830 to 850 mm depending on the padding. Seat width (internal dimension) 55 cm, seat length 45 cm. Length of surface plates in bed position 168 cm, the device can move a person of normal size.
Upmove has 2 safety belts
– A crane belt prevents the person being assisted from tipping off the device
– Hip belt prevents the assistant from sliding on the seat plate
